I grew up and went to school in Ottawa, Illinois, not far from Starved Rock State Park, if you know where that is. My mom and three sisters and their families still live there and I visit whenever I can. I’m a graduate of the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. (Go Tigers!) And, I’ve been in radio long enough to remember reel to reel tape recordings! I’ve worked most of my career in Central and West Central Illinois and I enjoy doing the KKMI mid-day show.

I also enjoy photography, collecting antique Christmas ornaments, and working in my garden. I have a passion for the music of George Gershwin, love getting to the beach on vacation, and can’t quite pass up a bag of Brach’s chocolate-covered peanuts or bridge mix.
