SUNRISE RUN FOR VETERANS is 6-8 a.m. Meet at Starr’s Cave Nature Center. Cost is $15 for advance registration, or $20 at the event. Half will benefit the Hamilton-Walters Marine Corps League.

VETERANS DAY CEREMONY is 10:30 a.m. at Burlington Memorial Auditorium.

VETERANS DAY TURKEY DINNER is 4-7 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 2727 Mount Pleasant St. Cost is $12. Veterans eat free.

VFW, 215 Washington St., will serve free to veterans a soup dinner with dessert from 11 a.m.4 p.m. The meal cost for non-veterans is $5. At 2 p.m. the VFW will have a ceremony at the MIA table.

VFW POST 7641, 802 E. McKinley St., New London, Veterans Day Brunch is 10:30 a.m.1 p.m. for a freewill donation. Then Steven Parker of Burlington will speak.

WEST BURLINGTON SCHOOLS Veterans Day Celebration is 7:45 a.m. in the ES Gym, 545 Ramsey St.
